FOR TODAY 1/26/2009
Outside my window…cold and wet!

I am thinking… there is so much to do
I am thankful for… good insurance
From the learning rooms… math, reding, a bit of cathching up from crazy thursday
From the kitchen… lazy meal night - hot dogs
I am wearing… jeans and a sweatshirt
I am creating… toddler socks, baby hats, a scarf
I am going… NO WHERE! Stay home all day day!
I am reading… nothing, five or six library books and no time to read
I am hoping… to get everything done
I am hearing… kids talking to me and talking out their work
Around the house… everyone is busy w something - school, a game, nursing, ya know the usual daily
One of my favorite things… a napping baby on top of me

A few plans for the rest of the week: ice?????! tkd, jer getting better

I really hate this cause it requires lookinng for an image, saving it, uploading, etc etc etc. so no picture thought from me. instead imagine this, a very fussy cute sweet eight month old climbing on his mama and not letting her get anything done. ta da.

My Knit a versary is February, 7 years in 2009! This also means Katie and I met 7 years ago! Our blogs were right next to one another in the original knit blog ring. We’ve both moved on since then, and are at different addys and I don’t think she is in the blogring anymore??? I know I’m not. haha.

Let’s see what else. OTN - scarf for my brother, chunky baby sweater, and all the old UFOs   Just finished - The Beer sweater (w/ a modified neck so it would work for cans) & calorimetry. Up next - matchy opposites like soakers & matchy opposites like pilot caps for my best friends twins, who are due in March!

Got to TWO knit nights this week, then skipped a diaper shower tonight because it was just TOO much, really. I am going to get in touch with the mom and offer a meal (for freezer or fresh when baby comes) and probably bring diapers then too. Maybe a knit cap? Not sure where my size 8 16" circs are at. . .

I am going… Tae Kwon Do day

I am hearing… Sheri Lewis and Lambchop
Around the house… the children are playing
One of my favorite things… yarn

Outside my window… freezing rain, a brown leafless tree with little white blooms on it
I am thinking… maybe i should have slept more last night
I am thankful for… that i am not sick anymore!
From the learning rooms… lesson planning for the month in progress
From the kitchen… leftovers! Hoorah! we need to buy eggs, i want to bake
I am wearing… pajamas (socks & sweatshirt, to go along with the 30 degree temps)
I am creating… calorimetry
I am going… no where! coughing children keeps us home from homebirth meeting
I am reading… old babysitters club books - my secret obsession
I am hoping… these coughs *begone* and don’t develop into anything more
I am hearing… boys playing Blastworks on Wii
Around the house… 2 are sleeping, 2 are playing wii, 1 is watching with interest while crawling around.
One of my favorite things… Hot Tea, I think i’ll go make a pot
A few plans for the rest of the week: girls tea time during TKD one of the two days and maybe shopping the other (at Starbucks), TKD for the boys, Dance class resumes!!, Celebrating Epiphany with DORA and KNIT NIGHT, maybe I’ll return to bellydance classes too, Celebrating Dads birthday on Friday night.
