now. who noticed that on september 30th I finished Lochlans hat, and said I hoped to be done with the next one in a week ?! I have about two inches to go before I start decreases. I got off to such a bad start with it, with all the twists !!!

I started the third one tonight, and when I cast off this one I will start another.

If I sit and knit on a hat as much as possible I can get it done in just a couple of days, of course this means doing much of nothing else. So a week or so i’m thinking. I just wish I could get them done quicker!

They look and feel so much nicer than the store bought ones, it is worth it. Next year? Mittens! Maybe not matchy, a different color, same yarn? And scarves!

i’m finally back to it. i’ll post progress pics when I get through with the first part. it’s a self-designed thing, so heres hoping it owrks and i don’t have to rip it out ! maybe i’ll have the pattern whisperer take a peek at what i’ve got so far. . .

I finished the fingerless mitts I started a week and a half ago. I know I could have done them much faster, had I more knitting time, but at least I get some time, right ?!

Weaving in ends right now, and they are being given today. I hope she likes em.

I am STILL working on that hat, I have about 3 inches knit, i’m going to 6 before decreasing. I’ll get there, it just feels like it’s taking ages. I am going to start a baby hat with earflaps on my other needles. And I have started fingerless wrist warmer things on my DPNs.

I love size 8 needles. lovelovelove.

I DID succeed the third time with that blue hat. I am still working on it. Accidently added a stitch and had to rip back ten rounds or so to get rid of the hole. Wow. So it’s going. going going going. it’ll be for one of my boys.

I picked up another set of size 8 clover circulars (16") and will be using those to knit the hats for the other people that are promised. It is getting started on things that I have trouble with, so this will be good. I also get annoyed when I have a problem and set things aside awhile. One of those hats is going to be a bear hat, the other will have ear flaps. I’ll likely do the second first, as it is for a smaller bebe, and will go quicker.

Started the wrist warmers for my mother in law, i’ll post a photo of those soon.
