[on the needles, Finally Finished, about those little people...] — Aishy @ 6:53 am

Toby recieved a knit-gift from Katie a couple of weeks ago. He is mostly wearing onsies these days, with the outside temps being in the 90’s, but indoors at cooler places it’s nice to have a blanket to wrap him up in. Thanks Katie!

In my own knitting news, I’m working on a gift for a friends baby, with another one planned to start soon (as I get the yarn from moms house - ha! I will probably see Jeri again before I get to moms again, I forgot about it when I was there Thursday dropping off/picking up the kids!) And I just finished Aaralyn’s July 4th top (ignore the folded laundry on the bed)

[on the needles, Two sticks, Some string, And a group of women, Participating, about those little people...] — Aishy @ 5:03 am

T visited the SIsters Of The WOol for the first time out-of-womb tonight. I wanted to see The Blanket in person, and just needed to get out in general. He slept in the sling until I made himwake up to nurse before we left, and I knit on A’s tank top. I’m about to change colors again so it’s going well. I’m not even sure how much more I have to knit before I am done… should measure soon adn see where we’re at.

I need to order some yarn for baby gifts I need to get knit. A’s tank is #1 priority and then baby gifts.

He is here [about those little people...] — Aishy @ 5:48 pm

Tobias Oliver was born 5/22 at 5:05 AM. I woke up around 3:50, water broken, in active labor with no breaks if you want an idea of how fast the labor actually was. I am writing up a birth story and will share it when it is all written down ; )  He weighed 7′12 & is 21" long. So sweet. Milk is in, nursing is going well, i’m healing & we’re just hanging out in bed getting to know one another.

The hat he is wearing in this photo (taken by aunt alanna) was supposed to be a bear hat, but the ears didn’t quite turn out round enough. We have declared it a horse, since T is my cowboy, and I am considering adding a fluffy mane with fun fur but probably won’t.

WIP Wednesday [on the needles, Participating] — Aishy @ 2:36 am

This is Jessica’s idea, I thought I would jump on the bandwagon. What I am currently knitting on (what i’m about to c/o for isnt going to count this week because I won’t be uploading and editing again today, haha)

Frustrating!!! [on the needles] — Aishy @ 3:26 pm

I have been working on two booties and keeping up with them equal so they are finished at the same time, because that is fun, and last night I got to the first decrease row & discovered. I missed increases somewhere on one of the booties. Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh ! Talk about frustrating. I went ahead and pulled the whole thing and will be knitting it up to the same point as the other one today.

I am also still working on going backwards on A’s tank top, because of using the wrong color at knit night tuesday.

Obviously I don’t find a ton of time to knit considering how slowly these things are going. But at least I find SOME time to knit. better than none. i’ll take it.

Hoping to get started on the top down bonnet for T soon. Without the anime face.

Today [on the needles, Up next, Two sticks, Some string, And a group of women] — Aishy @ 2:03 pm

Made a mistake on the July 4th tank last night (because I shouldn’t do anything non-mindless at knit night) and am going back to fix it.

Starting the booties again, on size 2 as the one I knit on a size 1 is tiny. CUTE but tiny. Also found out via ravelry there is an "in the round" adaption for anyone who doesn’t want to do the seaming up, won’t be using this myself, but linking it anyway - http://fleeglesblog.blogspot.com/2007/12/sartjees-fleeglized-bootie.html  Changes I will definitely be making - not dealing with the longtail cast on. Found a better solution (and I think it looks cuter too) via ravelry.

Knit night was overwhelming for me, so many people … and I am just so sore all the time these days. From Friday we have 3-6 weeks till baby will likely be here.

[Since it doesn't belong anywhere else] — Aishy @ 3:04 am

I’ve been busy. Missed fiber fest, it took a back seat to the "excitment" last weekend, but I did knit quite a bit. Aaralyn’s fourth of july tank is around halfway done if not a bit more (not sure exactly what i’m doing yet to be honest) and yeah thats about it. i’ve been getting stuff ready for the baby, I want to knit him a sweater but figuring out numbers holds me back.
